Odense Palace

Odense Palace, located in the city of Odense on the Danish island of Funen, has a rich history dating back to a 15th-century monastery. Originally a residence for the Knights of St John, it transformed into a royal palace after the Reformation. The current Baroque structure, completed in 1723, was designed by J.C. Krieger and features a grand hall and beautiful gardens. The palace served various roles over the centuries, including as a governor's residence and a command center during the Napoleonic Wars. Today, it houses administrative offices and the public can enjoy the adjacent King's Garden, making it a significant cultural landmark for visitors and researchers alike.
