Zilker Metropolitan Park (Zilker Park)

Zilker Metropolitan Park was established after Andrew Zilker donated more than 350 acres of land to the City of Austin in 1917, creating the city's largest public park. The park includes the spring-fed Barton Springs Pool, which has been a popular public swimming site since the early 20th century. Zilker Park has long served as a center for outdoor recreation and community gatherings in Austin. It also hosts large public events and festivals on its open lawns.
