Spectrum Center - 2012 Democratic National Convention host

Known as Time Warner Cable Arena at the time, the venue hosted the 2012 Democratic National Convention in September 2012. The convention brought national political attention to Charlotte and included party-wide platform votes and keynote addresses. The arena continues to serve as the city's primary indoor arena for sports, concerts, and large civic events.
