Hibernian Block

The Hibernian Block, built in 1910 in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, was a notable example of Classical Revival architecture. Originally constructed for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, an Irish Catholic fraternal organization, it served as a meeting hall and housed various social clubs over the years, including the Shriners and the Hispanic Social Club. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 but was demolished later, leaving behind a parking lot at its former location.
