Zibei Pavilion

Zibei Pavilion, located at the foot of Mount Yuelu in Changsha, Hunan, is a historical Chinese pavilion with roots dating back to 1688 during the Qing dynasty. Its name, meaning 'Pavilion of Being Self-contempt,' is derived from Confucian philosophy, emphasizing humility. The pavilion was relocated in 1812 by Peng Mingyao, a notable figure in the region, and the current structure was completed in 1861.
