Grey House, Carlsberg

The Grey House, located in the Carlsberg area of Copenhagen, is a historic office building with roots dating back to 1875, designed by architect Laurits Albert Winstrup. Originally part of the Ny Carlsberg Brewery, it has undergone several expansions, notably in 1901 and 1970, enhancing its functionality and size. The building features striking yellow brick construction adorned with sandstone reliefs and a beautifully decorated vestibule. Visitors can appreciate its architectural significance and the legacy of Carl Jacobsen, whose motto 'Semper ardens' is prominently displayed above the entrance.
