Institute of Texan Cultures (HemisFair '68 pavilion)

The Institute of Texan Cultures was constructed as the Texas state pavilion for HemisFair '68 and occupies a mid-20th-century modernist building within HemisFair Park. It served for decades as a museum dedicated to the ethnic and cultural history of Texas and is tied architecturally to the civic and exhibition design produced for the 1968 World's Fair. The building remains associated with HemisFair's legacy in downtown San Antonio.
