Kildare–McCormick House

The Kildare–McCormick House is a stunning Queen Anne-style mansion located in Huntsville, Alabama, built between 1886 and 1887. This historic residence, once owned by industrialist Michael O'Shaugnessey and later by philanthropist Mary Virginia McCormick, played a significant role in the development of the city through various charitable initiatives. The house features intricate architectural details, including a mix of limestone, brick, and river stones, and boasts 40 rooms across three stories. After years of neglect, it was restored in the late 20th century, but has since fallen into disrepair.
