Long Center for the Performing Arts

Opened in 2008, the Long Center for the Performing Arts is a multi-venue cultural facility that hosts resident companies including the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Ballet Austin. The building sits on a riverside site with a prominent public plaza and terraces that provide framed views of the downtown skyline and Lady Bird Lake. It was developed to replace older civic auditoria as the city's primary mid-sized performing-arts venue.
