Hollywood Theatre (historic neighborhood movie palace)

The Hollywood Theatre opened in 1926 on NE Sandy Boulevard and is one of Portland's longest-running single-screen neighborhood movie palaces. Operated as a nonprofit repertory cinema, it programs classic, independent, and specialty film screenings and retains its historic auditorium and marquee. The theatre is a focal point of the Hollywood District's commercial corridor and community film culture.
