Hope Point Tower

Hope Point Tower, also known as Fane Tower, was a proposed 46-story residential skyscraper in Providence, Rhode Island. Initially envisioned as part of a trio of towers, it aimed to become the tallest building in the state and one of the tallest residential structures in New England. The project was set to rise on a prime parcel of land near a planned riverfront park, featuring a modern design with masonry and glass, along with amenities like a private movie theater and gym. Despite receiving various approvals from the I-195 District Commission and the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the project was ultimately scrapped in March 2023 due to unforeseen risk factors, leaving a significant mark on the city's skyline ambitions.
