Fountains of Bellagio - large-scale computer-choreographed fountain

The Fountains of Bellagio, designed by WET and unveiled with the Bellagio resort in 1998, use a computer-controlled system of 1,214 water nozzles and 4,500 lights choreographed to music. At opening it was among the largest and most complex choreographed fountain displays in the world and helped popularize large-scale synchronized water, light, and music shows on the Las Vegas Strip. Its hydraulic and electronic control systems enabled repeatable, precision choreography that influenced subsequent multimedia fountain installations.
