The Franklin Institute's Tesla coil demonstrations

The Franklin Institute at 222 N 20th Street stages high-voltage Tesla coil demonstrations in its main hall, a signature live-science presentation that produces dramatic arcs and sounds. Videos and photographs of these Tesla coil shows and of the museum's hands-on science exhibits are frequently circulated on social media and in science outreach coverage.
