Martin Building (El Paso, Texas)

The Martin Building is a historic seven-story structure in El Paso, Texas, standing at 25.91 meters tall. Constructed between 1916 and 1917, it originally served as an office space for M.D. Roberts and William Martin Banner. From 1950 to 1979, it was owned by the El Paso Electric Company. In 2011, Lane Gaddy acquired the building and transformed it into residential apartments by 2016. Designed in the Chicago School architectural style by Brauhton and Leibert, the Martin Building has been recognized for its historical significance, being listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 8, 1984, and receiving a historical plaque from the city of El Paso in 2018.
