Originally known as the Rotunda Hospital, it served various purposes over the years, including a tuberculosis sanatorium for returned soldiers and a rehabilitation facility. The building showcases Federation Queen Anne architecture and features a stunning interior with jarrah staircases and stained glass. In 2006, the site was repurposed for community use, and redevelopment plans are underway to transform it into a vibrant space with a bakery, café, retail areas, and recreational facilities, making it an exciting destination for tourists and researchers alike.
