California Theatre

The California Theatre is a historic downtown San Jose performing arts venue that originally opened in 1927 as a movie palace and later reopened after restoration to host live theater, concerts, and touring performances. The theater is used for a range of cultural events and is part of the city's network of restored historic theaters. Its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and marquee are notable features of the downtown arts district.
