Twilight Epiphany Skyspace (James Turrell)

Installed on Rice University's campus and completed in 2012, the Twilight Epiphany Skyspace is a brick pavilion and light installation by artist James Turrell. The structure features an oculus in the ceiling and an integrated LED lighting system that coordinates with the sky at sunrise and sunset for scheduled light-and-sky presentations. It is located adjacent to the Shepherd School of Music and used for public light events and private ceremonies.
