Ysleta Mission (Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña)

Ysleta Mission was established in the 1680s by Tiwa (Tigua) people displaced by the Pueblo Revolt and is often cited as the oldest continuously operated parish in Texas. The present church building dates largely to an 1850s reconstruction. The mission is a focal point of El Paso's Mission Trail and remains an active parish with historic and cultural programs.
