Captain Stirling Hotel

The Captain Stirling Hotel, located in Nedlands, Western Australia, is a heritage-listed building designed in 1935 by Marshall Clifton in the Inter-War Mediterranean/Spanish Mission style. This two-storey hotel features distinctive architectural elements such as arched openings, balconies, and a central gable. Historically significant, it was the first of three hotels designed by the architectural partnership of Parry & Clifton. The hotel has undergone several renovations, including the addition of the state's first drive-through bottle shop in 1958. Recognized for its heritage value, it is listed on multiple heritage registers, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
