Project Row Houses community arts initiative

Project Row Houses, founded by artist Rick Lowe in 1993, transforms historic shotgun houses on Holman Street into a community-based art and cultural program. The organization combines artist residencies, exhibitions, and social services including early childhood and teen-parenting programs to support the Third Ward neighborhood. It is regarded as a nationally recognized model for neighborhood-driven public art and community revitalization.
