Pioneer Plaza Cattle Drive Sculptures

Pioneer Plaza features a large bronze installation depicting a 19th-century cattle drive, created by sculptor Robert Summers. The work includes a herd of cast-bronze longhorn cattle and trail riders set against a terraced limestone backdrop, and it commemorates Dallas's history as a cattle-trading center. The plaza and sculptures were completed and opened in the mid-1990s as a public park downtown.
