Mikkelgård

Mikkelgård is a historic former country house located in Mikkelborg Beach Park, Hørsholm Municipality, about 25 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Built between 1915 and 1916 by architect Povl Baumann, the house showcases a unique blend of Arts and Crafts movement influences and traditional Danish architectural styles. Originally the summer retreat of composer Hakon Schmedes, Mikkelgård has been transformed into a restaurant since 1990, featuring renovated stables that accommodate 120 guests. The picturesque setting includes moats and a bridge connecting it to the mainland, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
