The 42nd Precinct / Town Hall Police Station, located in Chicago's Lake View community, is a historic police station built in 1907, notable for its Classical Revival architecture. Originally the site of Lake View Township's Town Hall, it reflects the area's rich history and architectural significance. The station has undergone various changes over the years, including district consolidations and the construction of a new police station nearby. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
