Hinkle Fieldhouse

Hinkle Fieldhouse opened in 1928 on Butler University's campus and is one of the oldest remaining basketball arenas in the United States. It hosted numerous high-profile basketball events, including NCAA regional games and the 1954 Milan High School game that inspired the film Hoosiers. The structure was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987 in recognition of its significance to American basketball history.
