Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art houses the mid‑20th‑century modern art collection of the Bechtler family and focuses on works from the 1930s–1970s. The museum building, part of Charlotte's Levine Center for the Arts, was designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta and opened in 2010. It regularly presents rotating exhibitions and educational programs frequented by Charlotte residents.
