Brolæggerstræde 11

Brolæggerstræde 11 is a historic Neoclassical building located in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally established in the late 17th century, it has a rich history, including its association with political activist Jacob Jacobsen Dampe, who was arrested here in 1820 for conspiring against the king. The building served as the headquarters for the newspaper Socialdemokraten from 1889 to 1901 and was the founding site of the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions in 1898.
