Tong Ah Building

Located at the bustling junction of Keong Saik Road and Teck Lim Road in Chinatown, Singapore, the Tong Ah Building is a historic landmark known for its striking red-and-white facade. Originally home to the Tong Ah Eating House established in 1939, the building has undergone several transformations. After the eating house moved to a nearby location in 2013, the building was revitalized with new dining concepts, including the popular Three Buns burger joint and the Studio 1939 bar, which features a rooftop view of Chinatown. As of mid-November 2025, the building has been reimagined by the Opus Group, now offering a diverse culinary experience with local dishes and Michelin-star inspired Mediterranean cuisine, making it a must-visit for both tourists and food enthusiasts.
