Les Frigos

Les Frigos is a unique arts centre located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, housed in a former refrigerated storage depot built in 1920. After falling into disrepair, it was squatted by a collective of artists in 1985, who transformed it into a vibrant creative hub. Today, it hosts over a hundred tenants, including artists, small firms, and publishing houses, offering a diverse range of workshops and activities. The site is not only a testament to artistic resilience but also a focal point for community engagement against gentrification in the area.
