Mount View is a historic house located in Sheridan, Wyoming, built between 1911 and 1912 and designed by architect Glenn Charles McAlister. This Prairie School style home features distinctive architectural elements such as a hipped roof, overhanging eaves, and multiple brick chimneys. Originally owned by Lyman Brooks, a notable local businessman and politician, the house remained in the Brooks family until the 1980s. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century architecture and local history.
