O. Henry Museum - home of William Sidney Porter

The O. Henry Museum occupies the former residence of William Sidney Porter, the short-story writer known by the pen name O. Henry. The house preserves period furnishings and exhibits about Porter's life and literary career, and the site interprets his connection to Austin and his writing. The museum is operated by the City of Austin as a historic house museum.
