Clark County School District COVID-19 shutdown

On March 13, 2020 the Clark County School District announced the closure of all district schools in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The initial closure period ran through March 27, 2020 before being extended and ultimately leading to remote learning for the remainder of the school year in various forms. The district is the fifth-largest in the United States, serving over 320,000 students at the time of the closure.
