Paul Revere House archaeological excavations

Archaeological excavations behind the Paul Revere House have revealed multiple occupational layers including 17th- and 18th-century cellar fills and domestic artifacts such as ceramics, nails, and glass. The digs identified earlier building footprints and features that predate Paul Revere's ownership and helped document changes to the North End streetscape over time. Findings from these investigations are part of the Paul Revere House's interpretive material.
