Larkin–Belber Building

The Larkin–Belber Building, located in Philadelphia's Logan Square neighborhood, is a historic light manufacturing loft building recognized for its architectural significance and industrial heritage. Constructed between 1912 and 1913, this twelve-story structure was originally designed for the Larkin Company, a soap manufacturer. In 1920, the Belber Trunk & Bag Company acquired the building and made notable architectural modifications, including large rooftop signage. The building has served various purposes over the years, including production for Robert Hall Clothes and housing the Philadelphia Daily News. After a period of neglect, it was transformed into condominiums in 2004. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Philadelphia's industrial history.
