Veterans Memorial Coliseum

Veterans Memorial Coliseum, completed in 1965, is an indoor arena noted for its distinctive saddle-shaped roof and exposed concrete structural design. It was the original home of the NBA's Phoenix Suns from 1968 until 1992 and hosted numerous sporting events, concerts, and community gatherings. The building is a locally significant example of mid-century arena architecture and is located on the western edge of the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
