Charles Manning Reed Mansion

The Charles Manning Reed Mansion, also known as the Erie Club, is a historic home and clubhouse located in Erie, Pennsylvania. Built between 1846 and 1849, this impressive brick mansion showcases Greek Revival architecture with its pedimented portico and fluted Ionic columns. The mansion has undergone several expansions, including a recreation hall added in the early 20th century. Notably, it was constructed by a descendant of Erie’s first permanent settler and has been part of the West Sixth Street Historic District since its addition to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
