The Jacksonville Landing (riverfront festival marketplace)

The Jacksonville Landing was a riverfront indoor/outdoor marketplace and event venue that permanently closed on March 31, 2019. After its closure the complex sat vacant while plans for redevelopment were discussed. In 2020 the site was damaged by a fire and portions of the structure were demolished; demolition and site clearance continued into 2021. The property had been a prominent but empty downtown parcel until demolition to prepare for new development.
