War Memorial Opera House

The War Memorial Opera House opened in 1932 as part of the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center. It is the longtime home of the San Francisco Opera and San Francisco Ballet and seats approximately 3,123 patrons. The Italian Renaissance-style venue has hosted major productions, premieres, and cultural events integral to the city's performing arts scene.
