Malverne High School

Malverne High School, located in Malverne, New York, is the only high school in the Malverne Union Free School District, established in 1958. The school gained national attention in the 1960s due to racial tensions surrounding its integration process, which continued to be a significant issue for years. Notable alumni include politicians Thomas Gulotta and Norman F. Lent, as well as baseball player Francis T. Purcell. Today, the school is led by Principal Kesha Bascombe and remains a key educational institution in Nassau County.
