Elmwood Cemetery

Established in 1852, Elmwood Cemetery is one of Tennessee's oldest public cemeteries and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery contains Victorian-era funerary sculpture, family mausoleums, and marked graves of prominent Memphians, including civic leaders and business figures. Elmwood also includes designated Confederate and historic sections that document the city's 19th-century history.
