University of Pennsylvania Museum (Penn Museum) archaeological collections

The University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology houses extensive archaeological collections from excavations around the world, including material from the Royal Tombs of Ur excavations in the 1920s. The museum's holdings also include large Egyptian, Nubian, Mesoamerican, and Native American assemblages acquired through fieldwork and donations. The Penn Museum continues to sponsor and publish archaeological research and field projects internationally.
