Agustín Ross Cultural Centre

The Agustín Ross Cultural Centre, located in Pichilemu, Chile, is a historic building originally constructed between 1906 and 1909 at the behest of politician Agustín Ross Edwards. Designed to resemble the Grand Trianon in Versailles, it served as one of Chile's first casinos from 1917 to 1931. Over the years, the building has been repurposed for various uses, including a hotel and discotheque, before being declared a National Monument in 1988. After a significant renovation, it reopened in 2009 as a cultural center, housing the local library and hosting community events, making it a key attraction for both tourists and researchers interested in Chilean history and architecture.
