Kyiv River Station

Kyiv River Station, located on the right bank of the Dnieper in the historical Podil district, serves as the main river port of Kyiv. Built between 1957 and 1961, the station features a striking four-story structure with a round tower and beautifully decorated interiors by notable artists. After years of closure and neglect, a major reconstruction began in 2016, transforming it into a modern tourist center with expanded facilities. As of May 2023, it houses a private American university, making it a vibrant hub for both tourists and researchers interested in the architectural and cultural evolution of Kyiv.
