Springs Preserve (Las Vegas Springs historic site)

Springs Preserve conserves and interprets the Las Vegas Springs, the natural artesian springs that were the primary water source leading to the founding of Las Vegas. Opened as a public cultural and educational campus in 2007, the preserve contains museum exhibits, trails, and reconstructed historic gardens that document native ecology and early settlement. The site preserves important elements of the valley's natural and human history and serves as a resource for understanding the city's origins. Springs Preserve is located on the edge of the original springs' historic footprint within the city.
