1 Pace Plaza is the main building complex of Pace University, situated in Manhattan's Civic Center, near City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge. This vibrant hub features classrooms, administrative offices, a student union, and the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts, which includes a 750-seat theater. The building's history dates back to its construction from 1966 to 1970, replacing the former New York Tribune Building as part of a larger urban development project. Notable architectural elements include a striking sculpture titled 'Brotherhood of Man' at the entrance, created by Israeli artist Nehemia Azaz.
