Dawn Staley - Philadelphia high school and Olympic titles

Dawn Staley, a Philadelphia native who attended Murrell Dobbins Vocational High School, won three Olympic gold medals with the U.S. women's basketball team in 1996, 2000, and 2004. Staley began her national basketball prominence while playing in Philadelphia before a collegiate and international career that led to Olympic success. She is widely recognized as one of the city's most prominent Olympic athletes.
