Spangler–Benner Farm

The Spangler–Benner Farm is a historic site located in Mount Joy Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, recognized for its rich history and architectural significance. This national historic district features nine contributing buildings, including a log farmhouse from 1870, a bank barn from 1864, and a summer kitchen dating back to 1802. Visitors can also explore a smokehouse, spring house, and various sheds, alongside two notable structures: a wooden silo and a metal windmill, both built in 1900. The farm has been owned by the same family since its establishment, making it a fascinating destination for tourists and researchers interested in American agricultural history. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
