Kalita Humphreys Theater (Frank Lloyd Wright)

The Kalita Humphreys Theater on Turtle Creek was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright and completed in 1959, making it the only theater design by Wright. The mid-century modern building has served as a performance venue for resident companies, including the Dallas Theater Center, and is noted for its fan-shaped auditorium and iconic cantilevered roof. The theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
