GLG Grand

The GLG Grand is a striking 186-meter tall skyscraper located in Midtown Atlanta, notable for being the city's first mixed-use building, combining a luxury hotel, office spaces, and condominiums. Completed in 1992, this Art Deco-inspired structure features 53 stories and houses the only 5-star hotel in Midtown, the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. Despite its architectural significance, the building faced challenges upon opening due to a struggling real estate market, leading to a period of vacancy and financial difficulties for its developer. Today, it stands as the eleventh-tallest skyscraper in Atlanta, representing a unique blend of history and modern urban development.
