Bliss Copy of the Gettysburg Address at the Library of Congress

The Library of Congress holds the 'Bliss Copy' of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, the only one of Lincoln's five manuscript copies that he signed and presented as a fair copy. The manuscript is part of the Library's Manuscript Division and is displayed only during selected exhibitions or made available to researchers by appointment. Because it is a primary historic document and subject to conservation and exhibition schedules, direct public viewing of the original is limited.
