Adolphus Busch Hall

Adolphus Busch Hall, located at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is a historic building named after brewer Adolphus Busch, who funded its construction. Designed by architect German Bestelmeyer, the hall was completed in 1917 and opened to the public in 1921. It originally housed the Germanic Museum, which evolved into the Busch-Reisinger Museum, the only museum in North America dedicated to art from German-speaking regions. The hall features a collection of medieval plaster casts and hosts concerts on its renowned Flentrop pipe organ. Additionally, it is home to the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies and includes a courtyard with a replica of the Brunswick Lion, making it a notable destination for both tourists and researchers interested in art and European studies.
